Clean up the basements
In cooperation with the Estonian Rescue Board we invite everyone to clean up the basements. Basements are often used as storage rooms of different types of waste and flammable materials and items that can speed up the spread of fire and smoke in case of a fire. Basements that are tidy and well-organized reduce the risk of fire. Also, cleared up basements can be used a shelter in case of an emergency situation.

This year is the year of saunas in Estonia. Inspired by it, we encourage to clean up all the saunas! Organize collective work in the countryside or in the city to ensure that the experience in the sauna would always be healthy and safe. Clean the sauna rooms, check the water and fire safety, clean up the surroundings of the sauna and make sure the nearby water bodies are safe.
